ORPH-Help: To give is to receive
 CLOUDS, (Computer Legends Of Unified Department @ Sahyadri) , Students’ Association of Computer Science and Engineering conducted “Orph-Help;” an intra-departmental activity which is an initiative to help the elderly, orphans and differently-abled people of the society.
The function was inaugurated by N M Sarma, VP & Head, Analytics & Insights, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) who initiated the contribution by donating Rs.10,000. He said it was the best ever moment in any college he spent. Dr. Umesh M Bhushi, Principal, Prof. B. S. Umashankar, Dean-Academics, Mr. Francis V. J, Administrative Manager, Prof. Sudheer Shetty, HoD, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Prof. J. V. Gorabal, HOD, Department of MCA, faculty members and office bearers of CLOUDS were present during the function. Competitions like movie quiz, variety programmes were conducted for students and faculty members, this paved an opportunity for them to show their talents.

Amada (India) Pvt. Ltd. is visiting Sahyadri for recruitment drive of final year Mechanical Engineering students.
Amada Co. Ltd. is a large Japanese manufacturer of metal processing equipment & machinery. The company manufactures metal cutting, forming, shearing, and punching machines. It has 60 years of experience in the development of metal working machinery.
AMADA has established Amada (India) Pvt. Ltd. in April 2000, with its office in Mumbai and this is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amada Co. Ltd., Japan. Further to provide prompt sales and sales services to customers, apart from Mumbai, sales and service engineers are also stationed in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune and Vadodara.
