Mr. Parthosarothy K Mukherji Chief Technology Officer, Sidel Systems USA visited Sahyadri and interacted with final year B.E students. He briefed about the projects he has done and the project ideas which could be implemented at Sahyadri. He assured that he will guide the interested students to realize their projects into final useable products.
He is a national & internationally renowned technocrat, scientist & polymath whose work has encompassed multi-disciplines as diverse as Energy, Environment, Chemical Engineering, Medical, Automobile, Computers across the world, working with some of the finest Scientists, Engineers, Institutions & Organizations in these fields. For his excellent contribution, he has won prestigious Govt. of India's Science & Technology award for innovative Heat Exchanger & pollution control equipment.
He stressed upon the opportunities for mechanical students in power sector companies. He gave an insight into innovative ideas relevant to mechanical engineering which they could take up as final year projects.
He quoted the example of Mexican illegal immigrants in USA who had won a robotic competition at MIT and said that there is potential in every individual. He sees the same enthusiasm and intellectual innovation in our students as students in California and other USA institutes.

Mechanical Staff Team emerge Champions
 The men’s staff cricket team of the Mechanical Department has won the staff cricket tournament organised by the Department of Physical education. The team from CS/IS/MCA was runner-up.
Tega Industries Pvt Ltd Recruitment Drive.
First round of recruitment drive for Tega Industries Pvt Ltd was held in the campus. Final year and pre final year Mechanical Engineering students from the pool colleges participated in the drive. The next round of selection process for the shortlisted candidates will be held tomorrow in the campus.
