He delivered a 40-minutes presentation which was well received.

Critically examining Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen’s work “The Idea of Justice”, Dr. Sharma pointed out how it lacked Indian Perspective and in contrast highlighted the work of Justice Rama Jois titled “Thrivarga – Dharma-Artha-Kama” which epitomized Vedic perspective supported by references from Koutilya, Vidura, Bheeshma and Manu. Dr. Sharma asserted that “Sathyameva Jayate”, “Yato Dharmah Tato Jayah”, these two are the eyes of Law and Justice not only for Government of India but also for humanity at large. He quoted from Bhagavatam to point out the clarity of Vedic Rishis in presenting the Four Limbs of Dharma Vrushabha (Bull), namely the Judiciary, Legislative Body, Executive Body and the fourth one the Citizens which is not really counted in the modern context. When all the three get corrupted, then Dharma stands on the ground on only one leg! District Principal Judge Sri. John K Illikkadan, Sub Judge Sri. R Jayakrishnan (Secretary, Legal Service Authority), Associate Professor Dr. Padmakumar of Alapuzha Medical College and other dignitaries actively participated in the panel discussion on related topics.
