Best Words about Good Qualities of the Departed Alumnus of Sahyadri

nettyfish Sahyadri is reeling from the death of the Late. Karthik Bhat, an Alumnus from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering. He was battling with kidney dysfunction for some time and ultimately succumbed to the disease on 15th Feb’2020.
Mr. Karthik Bhat was a very brilliant student with a pleasing personality. During the course of his education, he was admired by all his teachers and peers for his contributions in the field of Computer Science. Kindhearted as he was, he was always willing to help weaker students and a great source of inspiration to them. He had such a strong sense of commitment that he would consider classes and college activities more than his family engagements. Apart from studies, he was a good chess player too. In respecting the elderly, he was a champion.
All these positive qualities of Karthik ultimately made him find favour with our Chairman, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary who interacted with Karthik during every visit as an Alumnus of the institution.
Prof. J.V. Gorabal, Head of the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering sorrowfully acknowledges “Karthik was one of the best students in my entire teaching career. He was very creative, constructive, diligent and possessing sharp programming skills. His demise is a great loss to the Coding Community of Sahyadri and to the institution as a whole. He will remain and rule in our hearts forever”. Mr. Sudheer Shetty, Dean-Examinations, reciprocates the sentiments.
Mr. Karthik Bhat was born on 15th Dec’1993. He was the son of Mr. Krishna Bhat & Mrs. Arunambika K. Bhat. After secondary education, he joined Sahyadri with aspirations of becoming an engineer and one day touching greater heights. Having completed his studies, he went on to secure a job. He would visit Sahyadri pretty often and interact with students and share his knowledge by delivering Technical Talks. He had great ambitions for a bright future. But God’s plan was different.
At this juncture, we as a Sahyadri family express our sadness and acknowledge the great importance of Karthik’s life and the loss that his passing away brings to us all!
