Arpitha K. M. with 82.48% has topped the Sahyadri College in the MCA, Semester V Examination of 2013-14 held by VTU. Pramod Kumar obtained the second position in the college with 79.43% while Divyashree N. with 78.95% stands third. Out of forty-nine students who sat for the examination, thirty-two secured a first class with distinction and thirteen secured a first class, bringing the overall percentage score of the department to 91.84%.
P. U. students emerge runners-up at
“Kala Avishkar 2014”
Students of Sahyadri P. U. College won the Over-all Runners-Up Prize at “Kala Avishkar 2014”, an Inter – Collegiate Cultural Competition organized by the Department of Commerce, Srinivas Institute of Management Studies, Pandeshwar, Mangalore. The students won I Prize in Mime and II Prize in Dance (Solo and Group). The details are as follows:
1) Mime – I Prize: Arshad, Asad, Abhilash, Mehfooz, Rasheed and Haneesh
2) Solo Dance – II Prize: Akash
3) Group Dance – II Prize: Abhilash, Adithya, Suhan, Vaibhav, Haneesh and Akash

Campus recruitment for 2013 and 2014 batches by 'Ispan Systems', Bangalore has been organized in the campus for the post of ‘web developers’. About 40 students will take part in the drive.
