Workshop on Cloud Computing Inaugurated in the Campus
The two-day workshop on “Cloud Computing” organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Technical Associate, Android App & Cloud Computing Developer, Technophilia Systems. Prof. Sudeer Shetty, HoD, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering. The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Mr. Sandeep Singh gave a brief overview about the forthcoming sessions. Dr. U. M. Bhushi Principal, stressed the importance of workshops and projects in his presidential address. Prof. B. S. Umashankar, the Dean Academic, was present on the occasion. Mrs. Ankitha K., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, delivered the Vote of Thanks.

Prof. Richard Pinto, Centre of Excellence in Nano Technology, IIT, Bombay, will be visiting the Campus. An introductory session with Prof. Richard Pinto will be held at 2:00 P. M. in the Boardroom. Prof. Richard Pinto will be the guest of the College from Saturday, January 17 to Sunday, January 25, 2015.
He will deliver a special lecture to the faculty members on Introduction to Nano Science and Technology on Monday, the 19th of January, 2015 at 9:30 A.M., in the Seminar Hall, ground floor.
Prof. Richard Pinto, IITB is an expert in Nanotechnology and its fabrication, Microelectronics, MEMS, etc. with more than 40 years of research experience.
