Entrepreneurs from Technocrats-Bangalore deliver a Session at the Social Immersion Boot Camp (SIB) organized by Center for Social Innovation (CSI)

Mr. Prakash Urs and Mr. Ashok, two entrepreneurs from Technocrats, Bangalore visited Sahyadri. They met and interacted with Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman.

Further, as a part of the ongoing Social Immersion Boot Camp, the entrepreneurs delivered a Session on 'Product Development' to the members of Launchpad.

Mr. Prakash Urs, an Independent Research Professional at Technocrat emphasized on the importance of blending human values in innovation. He gave an insight into the innovation that can be done in the problems that are faced on a day-to-day basis. He showcased to the students, a few of his innovative products that were influenced by day-to-day problems. The students benefited a lot from this session.

Introduction of the Mentor:
Prof. Navya Rai D pursued B.E and M.Tech Degree from Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. She worked as a Graduate Trainee for a year in New Mangalore Port Trust and 6 months in a private construction company. Her area of expertise is Structural Engineering. She has published one Paper in International Conference and won the “Best Paper Award”.

Introduction of the Mentees:
• Abhik A Naik is from Kasargod, Kerala. He pursued his schooling from “Chinmaya Vidyalaya” and PUC from Vivekanada PU College. His hobbies are photography, sketching and listening to music. He aspires to become an Entrepreneur and serve the society.

• Vidyashree is from Kundapura. She pursued her schooling from Shubhadha English Medium School and PUC from GPUC, Kundapura. Her hobbies are dancing, acting, writing blogs and sketching. She wants to work in a MNC and become a successful engineer.

• Mohammed Zameen H K is from Uppinangady. He pursued his schooling and PUC from Indraprashtha Vidyalaya. His hobbies are playing football and listening to music. He participated in many sports events and won prizes. He aspires to become a successful Structural Engineer.

• Prakrithi is from Bantwal. She pursued her schooling from Vittal Jaycee School and PUC from Vittal Pre-university College. Her hobbies are gardening, singing and listening to inspirational Talks. She aspires to start up a structural consultancy.
