Bridge Course for the Fourth Batch of Engineering

The fourth batch of Bridge Course for BE fresher’s started its journey on 4th January 2021 and will go on till 10th January 2021
Day-One of the Bridge Course had a kick start with students participating in various activities to explore and build a better understanding of engineering. Mr. Johnson Tellis, CEO, TCE, welcomed the students and the session began with an ice-breaking activity. The speaker took the students through their journey till date and spoke about the outcomes that can be expected from engineering. The students took part in fun and fast-paced activities to energize themselves while following the Social Distancing protocol.
The afternoon sessions were engaged by Ms. Hithaishy B, Event Manager, which mainly focused on the formation of teams among the students and indulged themselves in building better bonding with their teammates through various activities
Students learnt Drag-and-drop programming to build remote for the mega event using MIT App inventor, designed the chassis for the mega event using Onshape.

Day Four of Induction Programme for MBA Batch 2020

The Fourth Day of Induction for MBA students was presided by Dr. Ananth Prabhu, Official Consultant for Karnataka State Police for Cybercrimes. He enlightened the students about the various online scams and cybercrimes. He also updated students about the various cyber laws.
The second session was presided by Prof. Malini Hebbar, HOD for English, St. Agnes College; she spoke on the general mistakes committed by us on a daily basis with regards to communication. She emphasized on grammar, punctuation, pronunciation, and many other aspects of our general conversation.
The final session was facilitated by Mr. Abhishek Karkera, Consultant and Freelance Trainer. He demonstrated several activities about the various challenges and opportunities that would come across an individual’s carrier.
He also highlighted about the various opportunities available in Sahyadri College and threw light on how these could help students to build their career. Students appreciated the session very much as it was a blend of fun and learning.
