Caliper secures Orders of Products for Delhi Metro Project
After successfully developing products for Mumbai Metro in record time of less than 30 days, Caliper is now awarded with an order for product supplies to Delhi Metro Expansion Project. With the approximate value of Rs.30 Lacs orders with the scope of re-ordering in 2021 & 2022, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) bestowed confidence on Caliper for supplying high value critical rolling stock products in successive months.

Company Specific Training for Students of Sahyadri
The Online Aptitude Training Program for Company Specific has started on 3rd July'2020. Company Specific training is an exclusive training program on the patterns and questions which are more likely to appear in 1st round of online assessments conducted by Companies.
At the end of the training program students will be ready to appear in any assessments conducted by the companies and can show their skills in CAT, GATE and any other govt. Jobs.The training is conducted every week from Monday to Friday for 2.5 hours. Mock tests are conducted on Saturday. First week of training is concluded.
Training for the first week included random questions from the topics like Time Speed and Distance, Profit and loss, Mixtures, Calendars,Time and Work. These questions are based on CoCubes Exam Pattern which is the Assessment Portal for Companies like Cap Gemini, DXC, Bosch, etc.
All difficult problems from the topic 'Number Systems' which has sub topics like Divisibility Rules, Unit Digit, Trailing Zeroes, Remainder Questions, etc., were covered. The batch comprised of around 320 students divided into 2 groups.
Faculty of CSE Dept. along with CEO of Flotanomers Facilitated an Online Workshop on "Drone Forensics"
The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) across the world have increased the use of drones during the pandemic. With this, the misuse of drones too has increased worldwide.Experts are raising awareness on the considerable risks that the drones are already beginning to pose at a staggering rate.
In a bid to counter the rising instances of drone misuse, Mr. Midhun Jyothis, CEO, Flotanomers, a Start-up at Sahyadri alongwith Dr. Ananth Prabhu G., Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, who is also a Cyber-security Expert, conducted an Online Workshop on Google Meet Platform for 42 LEA Officers across India on12thJuly'2020.
The workshop intended to create more individuals to work on security aspects by encouraging participants to create more indigenous machines to tackle the present potential threat of drones. The aim was to bring a small group together to discuss technology, create a local network of experts thus building an efficient system for our own nation. This Workshop is the second of its kind.
Placement and Training - Uttara InfoSolutions
Uttara InfoSolutions conducted a General Aptitude Test on 12thJuly'2020 for the students of all branches of Engineering of the 2021 outgoing Batch. Top scorers in the test will be given free training of 2 months duration on Java followed by technical test.
Other students will be entitled to one month of free training on Java Fundamentals followed by assessment tests. The training program is a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
