Students of Sahyadri are invited to participate at "Summer of Ideas" by Infosys

Students of Sahyadri are invited to participate at the Global Eight-week Ideathon, at the "Summer of Ideas", an Online Learning Initiative launched by Infosys.
The "Summer of Ideas" initiative will redefine learning experience for university students worldwide. This Global eight-week Ideathon powered by Infosys Digital Learning Platform, Wingspan, will help the global student and academic community fulfil the gap of learning opportunities as a result of the disruption caused by COVID-19. This initiative will allow students access to Infosys Mentorship and specially curated learning materials virtually.
The program will induct nearly 2000 participants, divided into teams of five that will shape their ideas based on 10 themes related to emerging technologies. In addition to getting their ideas consulted and refined by Infosys Mentors, Renowned Professors, and Technology Thought Leaders, the students will have the opportunity to showcase these ideas to industry experts.
Through this initiative, Infosys Wingspan will provide a unique online learning experience for thousands of students, during these unprecedented times.

ACM-S hosted ACM-S 1.0 – Webinar-5 Facilitated by Project Manager-Core Network, Vodafone Qatar

ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) at Sahyadri in association with the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and under the banner of Sahyadri MHRD Innovation Cell,Institution's Innovation Council (MICIIC), hosted ACM-S 1.0- Webinar-5on 4th July'2020.
The Webinar was facilitated by Mr. Deepak Tallur, who spokeon the topic "Telecom Industry - Present and Future." Mr.Talluris currently working as Project Manager Core Network with Vodafone Qatar for Core Network Modernisation Program with extensive experience in managing Large Scale Transformation Projects and Program Management.He is affluent in preparing status reports & providing timely communication to stakeholders.
In this Webinar, Mr. Deepak spoke about how Telecom Industry works these days. He also explained about different 5G technologies that would be coming in the near future. He walked the audience through the evolution of the Telecom Industry and mentioned the role of different engineers in the Telecom Industry.
The Webinar was highly interactive and all queries were answered.
