Ujwal Suvarna & Akshay A from second year MBA & Chaithresh Kulal from first year MBA have got into a partnership Start Up named “Fish Junction”, Fresh Raw Fish – Ready to Cook. They have 2 more helpers who have been employed by them for cleaning & home delivery purpose. What makes them stand out is the quality of fish as they deliver only fresh fish & by the end of the day unsold fish is returned to the vendor for auction sale. They have been procuring fish early morning from Malpe Boat Owners directly which makes the fish available to the customers at a discounted price as there are no middlemen involved. Fish Junction takes bulk orders for functions and also delivers to hotels in huge quantity & at lower price.

VTU Local Inspection Committee (LIC) headed by Dr. V V Katti, Chairman, Dr. Hema Patil, Convenor and other members - Dr. Sathyanarayana, Dr. Prabhu Dev, Dr. Anuradha , Dr. B Ramesh & Dr. Virendra visited Sahyadri. They met all department heads and expressed their happiness with regards to the steady progress made by the institution.
