First session for the Future Skills Vertical on “AI & Big Data”

Mr. Pradeep Kumar C facilitated the first session for the Future Skills Vertical on “AI & Big Data”. A total of 60 members including Teaching & Non-Teaching staff of Sahyadri participated in the session.

Pradeep is a B.E in Electronics & Communication and has also done his M.Tech. His AI journey started since the year 1993. His specialization includes Packet processing in Networks, Carrier Grade product design, IoT and Machine Learning.

• Generally, technology evolves in the West and we become the ultimate users, however AI gives scope for evolution from India as we are good at Mathematics

Ms. Soumya Patil has joined the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering as an Assistant Professor. She has completed her B.E in Information Science & Engineering, from PES College of Engineering, Mandya & M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from AMC Engineering College Bangalore, Her area of Specialization is Computer Science & Engineering.

Ms. Madhura Hegde is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science & Engineering. She has 4 years of teaching and 1.5 years of industry experience. She graduated from VCET, Puttur. She has completed M.Tech in Computer Networking & Engineering from NMIT, Nitte. Her area of interest is computer networking and machine learning in bioinformatics. She is a freelance writer in Kannada newspapers. She is a member of Sahyadri Toastmaster Club.
