Silver Peak Global visited Sahyadri to conduct campus recruitment drive for engineering students of 2017 batch. Mr. Vinay N, Director – Corporate Relations, Silver Peak Global was at the campus to facilitate the entire recruitment process. Forty Eight students have been recruited by the company at the end of selection process.

Dr. C. K. Manjunath deputed as the Quiz Master
Dr. C. K. Manjunath, Professor of Humanities & Administrator was deputed to Pilikula Science Center as a Quiz Master to conduct quiz to high school students on the eve of National Science Day. Mr. Bharath Bhushan and Mr. Sunil B.N, Assistant Professors, from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering assisted him in conducting the quiz. Sahyadri Edu Dreamers R & D Pvt. Ltd. exhibited Drone and few models like Dream Kit, etc.
The Program was inaugurated by Mr. Prasanna, Member Secretary and Prof.K. V. Rao, Director, Pilikula Regional Science Center. The Theme set by the Government of India for the Science Day was 'Science and Technology for Specially-Abled Persons'. Exhibitions were organized by various Medical and Engineering Colleges. The event witnessed participation of more than 600 students and 200 Specially-Abled children.
