Campus Recruitment Drive

Madhus Garage Equipments Pvt. Limited visited Sahyadri to conduct Campus Recruitment Drive for the Mechanical Engineering students of 2019 outgoing batch. A total of 63 students participated in the drive and the results are awaited. The recruitment was for the position of Trainee sales & service engineers where the selected candidate will work in their technical department. The package offered after the training /probation period is Rs. 3.00 Lakhs per annum.

Student Counsellor invited as Chief Guest

Mr Ankith S. Kumar, Student Counsellor was invited as Chief Guest for the Inter-collegiate Quiz and Street Play Competition organized by the Indian Red Cross Society Unit of Government First Grade College, Mudipu. On this occasion, he spoke about the humanitarian values that the youth need to inculcate in their daily life. More than 10 teams from Bantwal and Mangaluru participated in the Quiz and Street play.

Dr. Pushpalatha K. is currently working as Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering for the last 8 years. She is also the chief editor of Sahyadri International Journal of Research. She has a Ph.D. Degree in Multimedia Mining from National Institute of Technology-Karnataka, Surathkal. She is the in-charge of SS Iyyengar Sahyadri Discovery Lab. Her research interests are machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, computer vision and database.

• Hussain Muhammad Bilal is from Mangaluru. He pursued his high school from International Indian School – Dammam, in the city of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He pursued PUC from Mahesh PU College, Mangaluru. He is interested in web application development and mobile application development. He aspires to become a software architect.
• Adhiti K.S. is from Udupi. She pursued her high school from Anand Ashram High School and PUC from Siddhartha PU College, Udupi. She is good at singing, dancing and cooking. She got first place in District Level Prathiba Karanji for group singing. Her aspiration is to become a successful entrepreneur.
• Saurav Naik is from Mangaluru. He pursued his high school from M.G.C. High School and PUC from Mahesh PU College, Mangaluru. He received Rashtrapati Award in Scouts. His ambition is to work for a reputed multinational company.
• Athulya Venugopal is from Kerala. She pursued her high school from Navajyothi Senior Secondary School, Edathotty, and PUC from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Edoor, Kerala. Her hobbies are music, dramatics and craft. She received first prize in sub-district, district and state level English skit competitions - 2017. Driven by both entrepreneurial and humanitarian interests, she wishes to have her own software company and start a hospital and thus make a positive difference in people’s lives.
• Rakhesh B. is from Puttur. He pursued his high school from Govt High School, and PUC from Ambika Padvi Poorva Vidyalaya, Puttur. He participated in District Level Kabaddi Tournament and various quiz competitions. He completed Junior Exam in Carnatic Classical Singing. His aspiration to pursue higher studies and to work for a good software company.
• Megha Kumari is from Bihar. She pursued her high school from Kasturba Girls High School and PUC from RNJ College, Bihar. Her hobbies are singing, dancing, drawing and cooking. She participated in a technical event at NIT, Jamshedpur. Her ambition is to pursue higher studies and to work for a good software company.
• Sinchana Deva is from Puttur. She pursued her high school from Vivekananda English Medium School and PUC from Vivekananda College, Puttur. She is a talented dancer and a singer. She received Rashtrapati Award for Guides. She has completed her Senior Grade in Bharatnatyam and wants to become a Bharatanatyam dancer. Her aspiration is to become a software engineer.
