Sahyadri and Govt. First Grade College, Madikeri collaboratively organized an International Conference at Coorg International, Madikeri

An International Conference on “Future Dimensions in Higher Education: Quantum Leap in Technology” was organized by Govt. First Grade College, Madikeri, in collaboration with Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management at Coorg International, Madikeri on 22nd Feb’2020. National institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Mangaluru Chapter also partnered the event.
Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director and Prof. Padmanabha of the Dept. of Business Administration-MBA, along with twenty students went to Coorg to attend the conference.
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. William Robert Da Silva, Professor of Communication and Social Sciences, Germany. Eminent personalities from the field of education, viz. Mr. David Bond, Historian, University of Exeter, Dr. Surya Narayan, Senior Fellow in Higher Education, UK, spoke at the event. Plenary sessions were taken up by Dr. Srinivasa Kumaran, Behavioural & Mind Expert and Dr. Siddalinga Swamy, State Co-ordinator for NAAC DCE (Retd). Dr. Vishal Samartha moderated the Technical Session of Paper and Oral Presentation.
The conference educated the gathering on the major happening, in order to bring up the standards of quality education and opportunities in a much bigger and better way and hoping for the development of starting from individual upto the whole nation being the beneficiaries of it.
