Dr. Molly Chaudhuri is now a Distinguished Toastmaster Dr. Molly Chaudhuri is now a Distinguished Toastmaster Dr. Molly Chaudhuri was awarded the Distinguished Toastmaster plaque and pin at the toastmasters Annual District 92 Conference, 'Coronation-2019', held at The Taj hotel, Bengaluru.

Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) recognition is the greatest honour that can be earned by a member of Toastmasters International. This award is given only to those toastmasters who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and communication skills and who have used these skills to help others in their self- development efforts.

Dr. Molly Chaudhuri had the opportunity of interacting with Ms. Lark Doley, CEO of Toastmasters International, USA and discussing about the growth of Sahyadri Toastmasters Club.

Dr. Molly Chaudhuri is now a Distinguished Toastmaster  Dr. Molly Chaudhuri also had the opportunity of interacting with, and introducing Dr. Akkai Padmashali, a male to female transwoman; social activist; co-founder of 'Ondede’ an organization for the rights of children, women and transgenders; winner of Karnataka Rajyotsava award, Ashoka global fellowship award, and Limca award for her album, 'Songs of caravan'. She was an invitee of the US Government for International Visitor Leadership Program for Gender based violence across the globe and visited the White House to raise issues about Transgender and Sexual Minorities.

The Final year students of Electronics & Communication Engineering - Mohammad Shinaz, Mohammad Shandar, Mohammad Afridi, Abdul Khadar Hamdan under the guidance of Prof. Praveen Kumar M, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering have published a paper titled “ADVANCED DATA-ANALYTIC LIBRARY ASSISTANT ROBOT” in International Journal of Technical Innovation in Modern Engineering & Science (IJTIMES), Volume 5, Issue 5, May 2019. e-ISSN: 2455-2585.

Mr. Praveen Kumar M. is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering from last 4 years. He completed his B.E from Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management and M.Tech from St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru with specialization in Digital Electronics & Communication Systems.

• Sneha is from Mangaluru. She pursued her high school from Delhi Public School, MRPL, and PUC from Govinda Dasa PU College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies are singing, painting and dancing. She aspires to become an electronics and communication engineer in a government sector
• Pratheeksha Lazarus is from Mangaluru. She pursued her high School at St. Aloysius High School and PUC at St. Aloysius PU College. Her hobbies include dancing and sports. Her aspiration is to join Indian Navy.
• Sandhya is from Udupi. She pursued her high school from Sri Mookambika Temple School, Mavinakatte and PUC from Shamili PU College, Udupi. Her hobbies are listening to music, traveling and watching movies. She aspires to become an electronics engineer working in government sector like BEL and serve the nation.
• Dhanush M. is from Mangaluru. He pursued his high school from Nithyadhar English Medium High School and PUC from Canara PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies are gaming, circuit debugging and coding. His aspiration is to become Embedded System Engineer in startup Company.
• Akshay Kumar M. is from Mangaluru. He pursued his high school from BGS and PUC from Canara PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies include biking and trekking. He aspires to become a successful engineer.
• M. Mahesh is from Chamarajnagara, Karnataka. He pursued his high school from VS Vidyalaya, Odisha and PUC from Sri Chaitanya, Vizak. His hobbies include listening to music, playing cricket and spending some quality time with friends and going on a tours. His aspiration is to become an electronics engineer working in navy or government sector and serve the nation.
• Aditya M. Bhat is from Managaluru. He pursued his high school from Vidya Daayini High School and his PUC from Govinda Dasa P U College, Mangaluru. His hobbies include watching TV and playing Cricket. He aspires to become a successful entrepreneur.
