Dr. C. Ranganathaiah Delivers a Talk in International Workshop

Dr. C. Ranganathaiah, Director of Research delivered an Invited talk recently at the International Workshop on 11th Positron and Positronium Chemistry-PPC11 at Cidade De Goa, Goa. This workshop was attended by 65 foreign delegates from 25 different countries and an equal number of Indian delegates from premier Institutions like Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) Mumbai, Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Chennai, and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SNIP) Kolkata.
Dr. Ranganathaiah spoke on the topic “Characterization of interfaces in binary and ternary interfaces by Positron Lifetime Spectroscopy.” He introduced his new method developed based on hydrodynamic interactions and positron lifetime measurements which was well received by the audience and appreciated. He also mentioned that his method has already taken place in the Book titled “Polymer Physics from suspensions to Nanocomposites and beyond.” written by well known Theoretical Polymer Physicists Leszek A. Utracki (Editor), Alexander M. Jamieson (ISBN: 978-0-470-19342-6 and published by Wiley publishers in 2010.
