Dean-Industry Connect & Head of Dept. of Mechanical Engineering receives Senate Letter for PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

Dr. Ravichandra K R, Associate Professor and Head-Dept. of Mechanical Engineering who is also the Dean–Industry Connect, receives a Senate Letter equivalent to PDC for his PhD, from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

The University Senate in its meeting has agreed to award the Doctor of Philosophy (Mechanical Engineering) Degree to Dr. Ravichandra during its upcoming UTM 64th Convocation in October 2020.

Dept. of Physical Education holds a meeting of Student Sports Council Coordinators

With the objective of making ‘Swachch – Hasiru – Usiru – Parisara’ at Mangaluru, DKAA and Bhandary Foundation is organizing 10K Mangaluru Run on February 2nd 2020.

In this connection, the Dept. of Physical Education held a meeting of the Student Sports Council Coordinators. The students have been assigned with the task of designing a jersey for the event and were encouraged to actively participate.

The Sports Director, Sports Staff Committee members and student coordinators were present.

Student Counsellor invited as the Chief Guest for the Youth-Connect programme at St. Agnes College, Mangaluru

Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor was invited as the Chief Guest by the prestigious St. Agnes College, Mangaluru for their "Youth Connect - Together We Can" programme for the First Year Undergraduate students, which was held on 28th Nov’19.

Mr. Ankith conducted a session on "Being One with Nature - Bringing Back Youth to Mother Nature", for the students.
