Feedback from Placed Students

Hi juniors,
The experience of the Infosys interview has been both wonderful and terrifying. The aptitude test was quite difficult for me because it was not how I had expected it and I was very happy that I was able to clear it even with the sectional cutoff. The next was the technical round where we had to know basics of programming in spite of being EC students. I had to answer questions in the technical and HR round such as:

Explain one of my projects in detail and the problems faced by me during that project. I was also given a puzzle and I had not only to give the answer but the method by which I reached the solution had to be explained. It was also expected that I know different methods for obtaining the solution for the same puzzle.

The next question was to give the steps to be taken to create a project. I had to write about my weakness and how I overcame it. Then I was asked about a situation where I exceeded everyone’s expectations and did something extraordinary, I was also questioned about my knowledge on IT services.

These were the questions asked to me by the HR and then it was my turn to ask him any questions that I had about Infosys. It is better to ask some questions to the HR because it shows our interest about joining the company.
