Former Scientist at DRDO visits Sahyadri

Mr. Sudhindra Haldodderi, Former Scientist at DRDO, Ministry of defence, Government of India and presently working as Vice President Operations at Engineer Materials Inc., visited Sahyadri. After visiting various facilities, start-ups and industries he appreciated the institute for its uniqueness in creating a learning ambience for students. He was happy to know about the all-round achievements and recognitions by awards of Sahyadri students in various fields. He had an intense discussion with Team Challengers regarding SAE Aero modelling and gave important inputs. Mr. Sudhindra had an elaborate discussion with Principal Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte and the key functionaries inviting Sahyadri to have an MoU with his company resulting in benefits to students and the faculty members.

Mr. Sudhindra Haldodderi is a noted columnist and very popular for his regular writings on science and technology in Vijaya Karnataka daily newspaper. He has also published few books.

Campus Recruitment Drive- GlobalEdge

Global Edge Software Ltd., conducted a campus recruitment drive for the Electronics and Communication, Computer Science & Information Science engineering students of 2019 outgoing batch. A total of 95 students participated in the recruitment process and fourteen students have been shortlisted for further rounds of interview.

Free Health Check–Up camp for Teaching and Non- Teaching Staff

Sahyadri NSS Unit in association with MedEnnove8 organized a one-day free Health Check-up camp for all the teaching and non-teaching staff. Basic health check–up and screening test such as Height, Weight, BMI, Ideal Weight, Body Fat percentage, Basic Vision test, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Free Doctor’s consultation was done for the staff. MedEnnove8 also provide other advanced blood test on a discount for the staff. More than 160 staff of our college participated and benefited from this free health camp.

Epitas Software LLP is visiting Sahyadri to conduct a campus recruitment drive for the Civil and Mechanical engineering students of 2019 outgoing batch.

Epitas Software LLP is a start-up company located in STPI Mangaluru. They are into Robotics and automation. Developing unique and innovative robots is their motto.
