Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt – Ideation Session

With regard to Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt, Ideation sessions were conducted at 4 institutions namely St. Agnes Kannada Medium School, St. Agnes High School, Milagris English Medium School (State & CBSE) by Mr. Gautham Nayak, Mr. Akarsh Shetty, Mr. Subramanya Bhat, Mr. Pushparaj Adka, Mr. Shobith, Mr. Madhur Rai, Ms. Shraddha Rai, Mr. Sujith D and Ms. Ravijna.

The session was conducted on 19th Oct’2019 and 450 students participated in the same.

Faculty of MBA gets certified by NPTEL

Prof. Akshatha P., Dept. of Business Administration has been certified Elite + Silver by NPTEL for successfully completing the course on Cost Accounting, a 4-week course during August 2019.

Second Year Engineering student bags Silver Medal

Shashank R of Second Year Mechanical Engineering has won silver medal in Taekwondo 63 kg category, in the VTU Inter-collegiate Taekwondo Competition.

The competition was organized by GAT, IT, Bengaluru during 17th to 18 Oct’19.

Dr. Manjula V. is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She obtained her B.E. Degree from B.I.T College of Engineering, Bengaluru and M.Tech Degree from BMSCE, Bengaluru and Ph.D. Degree from Jain University, Bengaluru. She has over 10 years of teaching experience. She has published 2 articles in national and 6 articles in international journals. Her research interests are Data mining, Machine Learning and Big data.

• Swaroop M. Sanil is from Mangaluru. He did his schooling at Shri Vyasa Maharshi Vidya Peeta, Mulki and PUC at S.D.P.T Pre-University College, Kateel, Mangaluru. His hobbies include playing volleyball and reading books. His aspiration is to work with Google.
• Disha B. Shetty is from Udupi. She did her schooling at Nirmala English Medium School, Udupi and PUC at Viveka PU College, Kota. Her hobbies include reading, writing and playing. She is interested in coding. She aspires to become a software developer and work in Microsoft or Google.
• Aakanksha S. Alva is from Mangaluru. She did her schooling at Sharada Vidyalaya High School and PUC at Sharada PU College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies are painting, sketching and playing. She aspires to work with a good position in Microsoft.
• Rashmitha B. is from Mangaluru. She did her schooling at Lady Hill High School and PU at Canara PU College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies include drawing and playing Badminton. She aspires to work with Google/ Microsoft.
• Anjali is from Sullia. She did her schooling at Pragathi English medium school and PU at Ambika PU College, Sullia. Her hobbies are Music and Pencil sketching. She aspires to work in Intel.
• Deeksha P.K. is from Puttur. She did her schooling at Vivekananda English Medium School, and PUC at Vivekananda PU College, Puttur. Her hobbies include dancing and music. She aspires to work in ISRO.
