Sahyadri receives 4 Golden Stars by Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education (MoE)

RatingCertificate Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, a hub for many innovation start-ups and industries, has been awarded four stars in the ratings for 2019-20 released by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has established the ‘MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
The 4 Golden Stars rating has been awarded to the institution for undertaking various initiatives and activities prescribed by the Innovation Cell, MoE. Sahyadri has received the top rating in the region for its vibrant innovative ecosystem.
The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of Sahyadri comprises of the following members:
Dr. Manjappa Sarathi, Director - R&D and President-IIC;
Dr. Rajesha S., Principal;
Dr. Anush Bekal, Vice-President-IIC;
Dr. Ratishchandra R. Gatti, NIRF & IPR Activity Coordinator-IIC;
Mr. Prashanth S. Duddela, Start-up Activity Coordinator-IIC;
Ms. Navya D. Rai, Innovation Activity Coordinator-IIC;
Ms. Sushma V., Social Media Coordinator-IIC; and
Mr. Adarsh S. Pakkala, Student President- IIC.

Sharada Pooja was held in the Campus as a part of Navarathri Celebrations

sharada-pooja Sharada Pooja was conducted at the Central library on 21 Oct’2020, to mark the Navarathri Celebrations.
All HoDs, Management, teaching and non-teaching staff members attended the Pooja and invoked blessings from Goddess Sharada on this auspicious occasion.

Schneider Electric welcomes potential game changers to the 2021 Edition of this competition in collaboration with their partner software company, AVEVA.
Students stand a chance to -
Win A Sponsored Trip - Global winners will be awarded a trip to any one of the major cities of the world i.e. Boston, London, New Delhi, Paris or Shanghai, and visit offices of Schneider, network with employees and interact with high level management
Pitch Ideas - Win the worldwide challenge by showcasing the proposal before the jury panel comprised of Schneider Electric's top management in the Global Finals.
Mentorship and New Opportunities - Selected participants will receive mentorship from Schneider Electric experts.
Some pointers for applying:
• Students from 2nd Year (Bachelor’s) and above or working on a Master’s degree, from any college across India can participate;
• Students must be pursuing Business, Engineering, Marketing and/or Innovation related studies;
• Students are invited to submit their bold ideas in one of the following five categories:
o “Access to Energy;
o “Homes of the Future;
o “Plants of the Future;
o Grids of the Future; and
o De[coding] the Future.
