A total of 14 Students have been Shortlisted for Adobe Internship Hiring Round 2. Shortlisted Students will undergo the second round of assessment in the last week of Oct, 2020. A total of 13 students are Shortlisted for the Product Profile and 1 student has been Shortlisted for the Research Profile. Adobe is looking to hire Women students as Interns from 2022 & 2023 Batch under their #SheCodes initiative. The stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 1 Lakh per month.

Scopus Indexed Book chapter has been published by Dean Academics & Professor, Dept of Civil Engineering

A book chapter by Dr. Nalini E Rebello, Dean Academics & Professor, Dept of Civil Engineering has been published in “Trends in Civil Engineering and Challenges for Sustainability 2021”- which is Scopus Indexed. The paper deals with Development of Water Filtration Unit Using PVA-Based Composite Membrane and Fly Ash which was submitted to an International Conference - CTCS 2019 post which the same was converted to a book chapter.

AICTE NEAT Awareness Webinar conducted by ISE department

Dept of Information Science & Engineering has conducted A Webinar on “Awareness of AICTE- NEAT and its facilities”. The session was conducted by Ms. Sangeetha S Harikantra, Internship Coordinator and by Dr. Shamanth Rai, Head of the Dept on 22nd Oct, 2020 for Vth Semester students and all the faculty members of ISE.
The topic addressed in Webinar was to scale up the skills, for students as well as educators in next generation technologies using the online courses provided by AICTE in collaboration with companies like Microsoft, Great learning, GreyAtom and many more. It also included various internship opportunities in different locations, provided by the AICTE with stipend. With this students were encouraged to keep going their learning even at home.
