Program Lead- Social Innovation Program, DTlabz attended consultation meeting at IIT Madras

Mr. Gautham Nayak, Program Lead of Social Innovation Program, DTlabz represented Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management in the consultation meeting on “Building Social Entrepreneurship Capacity among technical graduates”, held at the ‘Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ ,IIT Madras on 19th September’19. The program was sponsored by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in association with UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI). The objective of this program was to build capacity for Socially Entrepreneurial activity with specific focus on Skill-based opportunities in the domain such as handicrafts and food processing by training college students through curriculum based social entrepreneurship education.

• 99Games is visiting Sahyadri on the 23rd of September, 2019 to conduct a Campus Recruitment drive for the Computer Science & Engineering and Information Science & Engineering branch students of 2020 outgoing Batch. The selection procedure will comprise of Aptitude Test followed by Programming Test and Face -to- Face Interview.

• Sahyadri NSS Unit and Sahyadri Youth Red cross wing in association with DKMS-BMST (Bangalore Medical Service Trust) Foundation is organizing a session on " BLOOD STEM CELL DONATION AWARENESS" for the Student and Staff on 23rd of September , 2019 at Ground floor Seminar Hall at 02:00pm in the campus. Interested members can participate for volunteering " BLOOD STEM CELL DONATION CAMP" to be held at Sahyadri on 27th September’19.

A procedure in which a patient receives healthy blood-forming cells (stem cells) to replace their own stem cells that have been destroyed by disease or by the radiation or high doses of anticancer drugs that are given as part of the procedure.
