Sahyadri Emerges as one of the Top Performing Colleges in the State, under KSCST 43rd Series for Student Project Programme based on the Total Projects Sanctioned and Awarded (YR 2019-2020)
Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) is an autonomous Science and Technology organization under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. It has ventured into Student Project Programme (SPP) since 1977-78 to provide financial and academic support for Bachelor Engineering and MBA Projects. Being first of its kind in the nation, from the time it has ventured into SPP, it has been promoting research, innovation and development, thereby having an impact on improvement in the quality of technical education.
For the Academic Year 2019-20 under KSCST 43rd Series for Student Project Programme, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management has secured funds for 37 sanctioned projects and five of them are awarded as “Best Project of the Year” thereby making Sahyadri as one of the Top Institutes in the State for both number of projects sanctioned and “Best Projects” awarded.

Bridge Course 2020 for the Second Batch of Engineering Aspirants enters into Day-Two
The Day-Two of Bridge Course included Introduction to CAD and Introduction to Basic Electronics.
In the morning session, the students learnt 2D Sketching on Onshape Software. The session was conducted by trainers - Mr. Gautham Nayak and Mr. Swastik Kotian.
In the afternoon Mr. Gagandeep B. conducted a session on Basic Electronics. Students were made to understand the concepts of current flow, resistance and working of transistors, followed by which the students had an introduction to Arduino Programming and understood the working of sensors like ldr Sensors, Ultrasonic, etc.
