ECE students Participate in Hands-On Masterclass on Verilog Essentials

Sixth-semester students from the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) participated in a one-day “Masterclass on Verilog Essentials” held on 31st May 2025, organized by Anmaya Technologies.
The session was led by Mr. Nandavara Jayaram Hariprasad, Director of Anmaya Technologies, and offered practical exposure to Verilog HDL, a fundamental hardware description language used in VLSI and semiconductor design.
Topics Covered:
• HDL fundamentals & abstraction levels
• Structural, dataflow & behavioral modelling
• Writing test benches & simulation workflows
• Synthesizable vs non-synthesizable code
• Real-world circuit design applications
Using EDA Playground, students actively engaged in coding, simulating, and understanding digital systems—laying a strong foundation in FPGA development and industry-ready digital design skills.
The department appreciates the efforts of Mr. Hariprasad and the team at Anmaya Technologies for delivering an engaging and application-focused session.

MBA faculty participated in a ‘Two-Day Workshop on Advanced Research Design and AI in Research’

With a strong commitment to enhancing the quality and impact of her research and publications, Dr. Sushma V, Associate Professor, Dept. of Business Administration attended a ‘Two-Day Workshop on Advanced Research Design and AI in Research’ organized by Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). The workshop aimed to equip researchers with contemporary tools and techniques essential for designing robust research frameworks and improving the chances of publication in high-impact journals.
The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Murugan Pattusamy, an esteemed academic from the University of Hyderabad, who shared his extensive expertise in research design, data analysis, and the role of AI in academic research. The workshop provided valuable insights into emerging trends and practices in academic writing and publication, enabling participants to elevate the quality and rigor of their research output.
