MBA Faculty Members Contribute Chapter to Springer-Indexed Book on Sustainable Data Management

Two faculty members from the Department of Business Administration Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA Program and Dr. Sushma V, Associate Professor have made a significant academic contribution through their recent publication in a Scopus Q3 indexed Springer book series.
Their co-authored chapter titled ‘A Bibliometric Analysis on Perceived Employability Among MBA Graduates’ has been featured in the book Sustainable Data Management – Navigating Big Data, Communication Technology, and Business Digital Leadership (Volume 1), which is part of the prestigious ‘Studies in Big Data’ series by Springer, Cham.
Appearing in pages 355–365, the chapter offers a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of global research on perceived employability among MBA graduates, highlighting key trends, research gaps, and future directions in this crucial area of management education. This scholarly work, co-authored with Dr. Iqbal Thonse Hawaldar, Kingdom University, Bahrain and Dr. Suhan Mendon, Manipal School of Commerce and Economics, Manipal is accessible online via DOI link and is published under the ISBN 978-3-031-83911-5.

The paper titled ‘SmartCommute: Revolutionizing Urban Public Transit with Real-Time Tracking and Intelligent Bus Route Optimization’, authored by Dr. Shreema Shetty, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Dr Chiranjeevi HS, Assistant Professor, AIML Department, has been accepted for oral presentation and publication at the IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Engineering Applications (ICETEA). The conference will be held on June 5-6, 2025, at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, Puducherry, and is technically sponsored by IEEE Madras Section.
