CSE Students' Paper accepted for presentation in IEEE Conference ICCCNT to be held in IIT - Indore

A research paper titled “Object Detection in Video Frames with Timestamping” co-authored by a team of final-year CSE students Deelan Lasrado, Prajwal Prakash Naik, Mohammad Ihthisham Raafee, Swasthik Gowda under theguidance of Prof. Suketha, Dept. of CSE is accepted for the 16th International IEEE Conference On Computing, Communication And Networking Technologies (ICCCNT), IIT - Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The project focuses on building a smart real-time system that can detect, track, and timestamp multiple objects in live video feeds. By integrating YOLOv5 for fast object detection, DeepSORT for accurate tracking, and transformers for contextual understanding, the system can not only follow objects as they move but also log the exact time frames where each object appears. This makes it highly useful for applications such as surveillance, traffic monitoring, and autonomous vehicles, where both accuracy and timing are critical.

ECE Faculty members Publish Research on Leukemia Detection in International Journal

The journal article, "Integrating Multiclass Classifiers for Enhanced Acute Lymphoblast Leukemia Detection: A Comparative Study" has been published in the International Journal Yugoslav Journal of Operations Research.
