ECE Dept. hosts ‘Flight & Fusion’: Aeromodelling and SolidWorks Workshop Soars to Success

Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), in collaboration with Team Challengers, recently organized the "Flight & Fusion" workshop on 1st October 2024. The event provided participants with an enriching experience in Aeromodelling alongside hands-on learning in SolidWorks, combining the principles of aircraft engineering with modern design and simulation software.
With expert instructors and live flight demonstrations, this workshop captivated participants and showcased the dynamic spirit of the ECE department.

Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) organized a session on ‘Explore US Education Opportunities’

Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering recently hosted an expert talk titled ‘Explore US Education Opportunities’ featuring Mr. Desmond Fernandez, Consultant at Solasta US Education Consultants. With over 25 years of international experience, including his most recent role as Finance Controller at a major company in the UAE, Mr. Fernandez shared his extensive knowledge and insights on US education pathways. He also leads a team of consultants based in the USA.
The event was presided over by Dr. Mustafa Basthikodi, Professor and Head of the Department, and was smoothly coordinated by Prof. Prajwal Rao, IIC Coordinator.
Prof. Adarsh Rag, skilfully served as the master of ceremonies, ensuring the event's seamless flow. The insightful discussion provided valuable guidance on exploring higher education opportunities in the United States, significantly enriching the students' understanding of the topic.
