Placements and Training: Campus Recruitment Drive - Novigo Solutions

Novigo Solutions visited Sahyadri on 4th Oct, 2024 to conduct a campus recruitment drive for Computer Science and Information Science Engineering students from the 2025 graduating batch. The drive saw enthusiastic participation, with nearly 313 students vying for a coveted position at the prestigious company.

The event commenced with an informative pre-placement talk, providing students insight into the company's vision, culture, and career opportunities. This was followed by a rigorous selection process, including an online aptitude test, technical interviews, and personal interviews, designed to assess the candidates' skills and compatibility with Novigo Solutions.

Unicourt Workshop

On 7th Oct, 2024, UniCourt conducted a full-day workshop cum placement session for final-year students. The workshop, titled "Full-Text Search with Elasticsearch Using Microservices," was attended by 70 students. Those shortlisted from the workshop will proceed to the first round of technical evaluation.

Faculty Certified through NPTEL

The following faculty members from the Dept. of CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) completed NPTEL FDP Courses in different subjects and achieved various certifications.

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) was initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in the year 2003. Five core disciplines were identified, namely, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering and 235 courses in web/video format were developed.

Deloitte India is visiting Sahyadri on 8th Oct '2024 to conduct a Campus Recruitment Drive for the Engineering students from all branches of 2025 outgoing batch. They are recruiting for the position of Product Engineer. The salary package offered is INR 6.6 LPA.
