Program Lead, Center for Social Innovation at Sahyadri (CSIS), attends Faculty Development Program (FDP)

Mr. Gautham Nayak, Program Lead, Center for Social Innovation at Sahyadri (CSIS), attended a 3-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) during 25th to 27th Nov’19.

The FDP was organised by Centre for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CSIE), IIT Madras along with Social Impact Lab, University of Southampton, UK. It was sponsored by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in association with UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI).

The FDP was conducted as a part of the program titled “Building Social Entrepreneurship Capacity among Technology Graduates”. During the 3-Day program the participants were introduced to important topics of social innovation like, Value Creation for Social Impact, Social Enterprise Business Model Canvas, Entrepreneurship Skillset, Elements of Social Entrepreneurship Curriculum and Design Thinking for Social Innovation.

The sessions were delivered by eminent professors Dr. Pathik Pathak, University of Southampton, UK; Prof. Gavin Melles Swinburne University, Australia; Dr. L. S. Ganesh and Prof. James Rajanayagam from IIT Madras.
