A one-day mega Naturopathy & Yoga Health Check-up & Awareness Camp “Nisargopchar Mahotsav” was held at Sahyadri, on 9th Feb’2020. The event was organized by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College & Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Ujire and sponsored by National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India.
Padmashree Dr B M Hegde, Former Vice-Chancellor, Manipal University, inaugurated the programme. Several dignataries viz. Dr Rajeshwari Devi, District Medical Officer, DK District; Dr Iqbal, District Ayush Officer, DK and Mr Devadas Hegde, Trustee, Bhandary Foundation and Mr. B B Shanbhog, Chartered Accountant, attended the function.  Dr Wolfgang Schollhorn, Professor, Johannes Guterburg University, Germany was a special invitee.

The event began with the general Yogasana session for the general public. A variety of consultations and therapies like Yoga, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Massage, Water Therapy, Steam Therapy etc. were conducted.
Apart from the special Yoga programmes offered by Yoga experts, counselling by experts, treatment and advice from experienced Yoga and Naturopathy doctors were offered to the participants.
