Closing Ceremony of the Three-Day GSB Premier League (GPL) – 2020

Curtains were brought down on The Three-Day “Puzzolana GSB Premier League (GPL) – 2020” with a grand Closing Ceremony, on 16th Feb’2020.
The Three-Day event, comprising of Cricket, Entertainment, Food, Kids zone, Workshops, Adventure & Water Sports, Art & Culture, Talent Hunt and more, had taken off to a rollicking start on 14th Feb’2020 at the Sahyadri Riverside Ground.
At the closing ceremony, however, several eminent personalities were present. Two of whom were, Mr. Basti Vaman Madhav Shenoy, a noted Konkani activist popularly known as Vishwa Konkani Sardar & Founder of World Konkani Centre, and Mr. Gurudath Bantwalkar, Asst. Director at World Konkani Centre.
GPL 2020’ Cricket Tournament, the main attraction of the Mega GPL 2020 Utsav saw participation of around 16 teams, that played with great passion. However, Irvathur Sports Club, Manipal emerged as Champions and bagged the “Puzzolana GPL 2020 Trophy” along with a Cash Award.
Cultural Extravaganza filled with diverse colours was organized. Some of the attractions included Boating, Cruise, Kite Festival, Zumba, Mega Unlimited Food Festival, etc. Various workshops and competitions were also held during the Three-day event
