Closing Ceremony of Arena 2020 the Annual Sports Day

Arena 2020, the Annual Athletic Meet which was conducted on 21st Feb’2020 at Sahyadri Riverside Ground was brought to a conclusion with a grand closing ceremony.
Various Athletic events and Fun games and cultural performance were held for the students and the staff. Above all, the winners were felicitated on the occasion.
A detailed description of Prize winners of ‘Arena 2020’ is given here below:
Individual Championship:
In the Boys’ section Mr. Dheeraj D. Puthran of Fourth Semester, Electronics & Engineering bagged the Individual Championship and in the Girls’ Section Ms. Devika of Second Semester, Civil Engineering bagged the Individual Championship;
Overall Championship:
The Overall Championship for both Boys’ as well as Girls’ Section was bagged by Electronics & Communication Engineering;
Similarly, the Overall Championship (Boys & Girls combined) was again bagged by Electronics & Communication Engineering;
Overall Runners Up:
The Overall Runners Up for Girls’ Section was bagged by the Physics Cycle
March Past:
The March Past was the most spectacular event. The students participated with enthusiasm. However, prizes were announced and the students of 1st Year ‘G’ Section won the First Place. Second Place was won by the students of 1st Year ‘A’ Section. The Third Place went to the students of 1st Year ‘F’ section.
The event formally ended with lowering of the Flag by Dr. Srinivas Rao Kunte, Principal and the Sports Meet was declared closed by Prof. S.S. Balakrishna,Vice-Principal.
