Students of Second Year Engineering participate in Google’s prestigious Team Programming Competition - HASHCODE

Students of Second Year Computer Science & Engineering viz. Mayur, Manjukrishna, Swasthik, Suhan, Prathiksha, Neha, Nihal, Vinisha, Shreevishnu, Akhilesh and Rovit, participated in ‘HASHCODE’, a team programming competition, organized by Google, for students and professionals around the world.
Various teams were formed and an engineering problem was given to solve. Team comprising of Prathiksha, Neha and Rovit secured 10th place in Manipal Hub, 1723th place all over India and 8034th place around the globe.
Hashcode is Google’s team-based programming competition. It allows sharing of skills and connect with other coders while working together to solve a problem modeled off a real Google engineering challenge.
In small teams of two to four, coders all over the world will tackle the first problem through an Online Qualification Round.
