Concluding day of FDP for Newly joined faculty members

The Seven-Day FDP for newly joined faculty members has come to an end with concluding remarks by Principal, Dr. Rajesha S. He mentioned that a teacher should be passionate towards teaching, possess good knowledge, should be a mentor, administrator and so on, thereby highlighting the qualities of a good teacher. He re-iterated that a Teacher should be an all- rounder. This era expects a teacher to be upgraded and he/ she should teach concepts relevant to the era. He said resistance and negativity are present everywhere, but we should motivate ourselves and come out of it. As a teacher, one should be an inspiration to students by keeping ourselves motivated, happy, healthy and updated. Go to class with practical application so that you can connect students more effectively. After the session, Dr. Nalini E Rebello, Dean-Academics and Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counselor facilitated faculty members in visiting various industries and start-ups established in the campus.
