AICTE-ISTE National Refresher Programme Phase-2 organized by Dept. of Mechanical Engineering

On the concluding Day of AICTE-ISTE National Refresher Programme (Phase II) organized by Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, the First session was engaged by Dr. Sampath Kumar. He is presently working as Professor and Associate Dean at JSSATE, AKTU, Lucknow. He spoke on “Case studies of pedagogical approaches”. In his talk, he highlighted the significance of outcome-based learning.
The second session was engaged by Dr. M.M. Pattanshetti. He is a former Professor in Education at the M.M. College of Education, Davangere. He has a total of 45 years of experience in teaching and has guided 16 students for their PhD degree. He spoke on “Preparing for lecturing and laboratory setting”.
The All-India Level AICTE-ISTE Refresher Program- Phase-II came to an end with a Valedictory Programme. The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. Dinesh Rangappa, Professor and Program Coordinator, Dept. of Nanotechnology, Visvesvaraya Technological University. Dr. Rajesha S, Principal welcomed the gathering, and congratulated the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering for the successful completion of the Phase-II. He also shared glimpse of the feedback from the participants. Dr. Ravichandra K R, Dean-Industry Connect & HoD of Mechanical Engineering Department, presented the glimpse of all the sessions held in the Phase-II.
Dr. Dinesh Rangappa, in his address, stressed on the importance of Collaboration in multidisciplinary research and shared his experiences in implementing collaborative learning. Dr. Rathishchandra Gatti, Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering conveyed the Vote of Thanks.
