Final Year Civil Engineering Students witness Pile Testing at New Marvoor Bridge Site

Final Year Students of the Dept. of Civil Engineering visited Maravoor Bridge Site on 9th Dec, 2021 having an opportunity to witness the Pile load test. The test was carried out under the supervision of Er. Chandrashekaraiah Thimmaih, AEE PWD, Er. Ratnakar Chowta, Er. Abhinandan, Er. Shiva Subrahmanya and Er. Mukundh. The project is taken up by Mugrody Constructions.
Er. Chandrashekaraiah presented his valuable insights in line with the Geo Technical applications of the test. Er. Shiva Subrahmanya gave the overview of the project and shared the necessary drawings. Students also witnessed the boring process. Prof. Sunil Kumar K, Dept. of Civil Engineering accompanied the students to site and explained the functions of various components of Bridge and related it to an elective course on Bridge Engineering offered in Final Semester. The visit was facilitated through Mr. Vishwas, Final Year Student, who is an Intern at Mugrody Constructions under the guidance of Er. Shiva Subrahmanya.
