DSIR Project Team meets the CEO, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath

Dr. Vishal Samartha, Project Director and Prof. Padmanabha B, Co-Principal Investigator of the recently sanctioned DSIR Project, met Dr. Kumar, IAS, CEO, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath in connection to the women weavers project. They had a thorough discussion on how the project could benefit the women weavers of this region. The project shall grant power loom training to women weavers and empower them to become self-sustaining and also enable them to have a better economic life. Dr. Kumar has assured assistance to the team in reaching out to the needy women weavers of Dakshina Kannada District.
