Dr. Prabhu delivers a virtual lecture on Dark Web investigations for the Karnataka Police

Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre delivered a lecture on Dark Web investigations for the officers of the Karnataka Police. 28 officers from the ranks of SP and below attended this 4-hour lecture.
In his address, Dr. Prabhu mentioned - The increasing use of deep and dark web has led to significant growth of illegal activities on the internet. These platforms are used to conduct illegal operations with minimal visibility. Web Intelligence has become a crucial part of Intelligence methodologies and security management. The best Practice & Real World Use Cases were discussed along with methods to Identify Profiles / Identities, Darknet Investigations and other allied topics.
