Induction Programme for the first Sahyadri MBA Autonomous Batch 2021-23 Day Five (18th Feb, 2022):

First session was facilitated by Mr. Johnson Tellis, CEO-Technical Career Education. In his session, he emphasised on developing entrepreneurial mind-set among students. He re-iterated that right career choices contribute to the economic development. He walked the students through the pathway within the eco-system of Sahyadri in order to excel as a student and takeaway the learning and transform into a professional. He stressed on the importance on building a profile - networking, developing technical knowledge and doing internships in MSMEs.
The next session was facilitated by Ms. Vathika Pai, Proprietor, Nirmala Travels. She spoke on "Entrepreneurship" and threw light on the qualities of a successful entrepreneur. She also mentioned about the challenges as well as the advantages for the current generation to become an entrepreneur quoting examples of local entrepreneurs.
The last session of the induction program was facilitated by Dr. KT Shwetha. She took up a session on "Mental Health & Hygiene". The session focussed on developing a good mental health and healthy relationships. She urged the students to express the mental issues and also brought out the real meaning of happiness.
