Vice President-Learning Management at Karkinos Healthcare Private Ltd addresses the MBAs

On 30th Dec, 2021, Mr. Satyajith Salian, Vice President-Learning Management at Karkinos Healthcare Private Ltd along with his spouse, daughter and cousin Mr. Madhav Suvarna, visited Sahyadri and interacted with the final year MBA students and faculty.
Mr. Satyajith Salian, earlier worked as the Head of Education at Tata Trusts. He also served at Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for 19 years from 1998 to 2017, first as Sr. Manager – Finance directly reporting to the founder trustee for 12 years and later as Director - Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini since its inception in 2010.
His talk was centered on the Framework for Self-Development as MBA is one of the greatest courses as it focusses on you as an individual – creating leaders and personality development. According to him – “Don’t chase the subjects but focus on the acronym of MANAGER in order to excel as an MBA” which was the philosophy taught by his Master.

He also threw light on the services rendered in early detection of Cancer which can be easily cured as an Outpatient. He was delighted to know that Sahyadri wishes to join hands on this initiative in conducting surveys as a first step to this initiative.
He concluded his session by mentioning that as MBAs, students should be on rigorous field work conducting surveys, identifying the problems in the society and being a problem solver.
