CSE Dept. Organized an Orientation Programme for 2nd Year students

On 23rd May 2022 Monday, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering organized an Orientation Programme for the 2nd year students - CSE, AI-ML and Data Science. As it was the first day of commencement to fourth semester, the Department planned an orientation programme setting right expectations. In the first session Dr. Pushpalatha K, Head of the Department, gave an insight about the rules and regulations to be followed, Role of attendance and importance of subjects from the point of view of placements. Further, Prof. Kanmani conveyed information related to Continuous Internal Evaluation and Mentor-Mentee system; Prof. Sharathchandra N R spoke about the NBA Process and importance of program outcomes; Prof. G B Janardhanswamy gave an overview on Sahyadri Institute Innovation Council and the its Activities. Dr. Prem Kumar explained the code of conduct to be followed in the college premises; Prof. Dudella Sai Prashanth emphasized on the various MOOC Courses, Projects and Start-ups, which was finally concluded by Prof. Shailesh Shetty who provided the glimpse of CLOUDS association and ARPAN related Events.
