Sahyadri Women’s Weight Lifting team emerges as Champions at Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, Annekal, Bengaluru

In the VTU 20th inter-collegiate weight lifting competition held at Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, Annekal, Bengaluru, Sahyadri Women’s weight lifting team emerged as Champions, bagging medals in the following categories.
1. Deeksha P. won 1st place in 49 kg category
2. Ann V. Mariya won second place in 55kg category
3. Vaishnavi D.K. won 1st place in 59 kg category
4. Swathi won 1st place in 64 kg category
Furthermore, Deeksha P., Vaishnavi D.K., Swathi and Namrasha N. Ganiga have been selected for All India Inter University Weightlifting competition.
