First Year Engineering Students Participate in Panel Discussion in Commemoration of National Organ Donation Day

First Year Engineering students of ‘H’ section participated in a Panel Discussion organized by Organ Donation India Foundation, at Indiana Hospital, Mangaluru in commemoration of National Organ Donation Day on 27th Nov’19.
The programme was organized by Mr. Lal Goel, Chairman of Organ Donation India Foundation in order to spread awareness about organ donation. Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman-Bhandary Foundation was invited as Guest Panellist for the awareness programme.
The students, along with Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor, actively participated in the Panel Discussion and encouraged the youth to come forward to pledge their organs for donation. The programme was live streamed in many social and news media sites.
The students were accompanied by Prof. Deepashree and Prof. Shruthi for the programme.
