Sahyadri Signs MoU with KCCI, Mangaluru for Industry-Academia Collaboration

With the prime objective of having industry-institute interface, Sahyadri has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The students of Sahyadri who seek a rewarding career in engineering and management or to become entrepreneurs, shall get hands-on information and knowledge through this mutual understanding.
KCCI through its members will be able to enhance the confidence of the students, by nurturing young minds and help budding young talents. This MoU would help Sahyadri in terms of internships for students, seek consultancy services from the faculty, conducting guest lectures, certification programmes, workshops etc.
The MoU was signed by Dr R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal and Mr Isaac Vas, President of KCCI. Ms Athmika Amin, Director of KCCI and Chairperson of Women Entrepreneurship Committee, Mr P B Mudasser, Director of KCCI and Ms Salome Deepa Lobo, Chairperson Industry Academia Interface, Sub-committee (KCCI), graced the occasion by their presence.
KCCI, Mangaluru is a not-for-profit organisation and the apex body in the region which works along with the members, for the empowerment and betterment of the business community and strives for the development of trade, commerce and industry, entrepreneurs, and has rendered remarkable service to the economic progress of Dakshina Kannada.
