As part of ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’, students of Third Semester Information Science & Engineering visited Kadabettu Village in Bantwal

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.

The mission of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is to enable higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. Under this, institutes through their faculty and students, will carry out studies of living conditions in adopted villages. They will also assess local problems and needs, workout possibilities of leveraging technological interventions and need to improve processes in implementation of various government schemes, prepare workable action plans for the selected villages.

The students of Information Science & Engineering interacted with the natives of Kadabettu Village to know the problems of the village. Students were accompanied by Prof Prakhyath Rai, Prof Madhura N Hegde, Prof Sangeetha S Harikantra, Prof Ranjana and lab instructors Ms Swaymprabha, Mr Praveev Damle and Mr Prajwal.
