A 33-Member MBA Team at Bhutan for Industry-Academia Connect

As part of the MBA Industry visit programme, a 33-Member MBA Mentor-Mentee Team comprising of students and three faculty members visited Bhutan during 10th to 14th Feb’2020. The team covered many major places in Bhutan, which consist of industries and academic institutions, The Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan mainly being one of them.
The MBAs had a wonderful opportunity to interact with the management and the staff of the Textile Academy. The students have taken up this as a case study in their curriculum. Overall the Industry visit was very fruitful and students were able to capitalize a lot of knowledge.
The Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan is an educational center for the training of individuals in traditional Bhutanese weaving. It has the market share of around 60%.
