Interaction session by a leading Civil Services Faculty from Deccan Academy of Civil Services (DACS)

Mr. Sobhan George Abraham a leading Civil Services Faculty from Deccan Academy of Civil Services (DACS) visited Sahyadri on 2nd March’2020 and had an interactive session. Over 180 students from all branches of engineering attended the session.
Mr. Abraham helped the students understand and clarify all their queries relating to IPS and IAS Exams. He explained the 3 various stages of exam viz. Preliminary examination, Main examination and the Interview. Stating various examples, he shared his expertise involving various strategies required to crack the Civil Service exams.
Speaking about the Orientation Course offered by DACS, he said it is comprehensive in nature and will enable aspirants to get a clear idea about the various strategies needed for preparing this highly competitive examination.
Indian Civil Service provides a vibrant platform for the youth of the nation to be part of nation building. It entails tackling challenges which are multi-faceted in nature. Being part of the permanent executive, the civil servants are entrusted with the task of rendering objective opinions and advisories to the political executive.
Indian Civil Service encompasses various services such as Indian Administrative Service-IAS, Indian Police Service-IPS and Indian Foreign Service-IFS.
