A Team of Faculty - Dr. Mustafa Basthikodi, Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering; Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering; Dr. Anush Bekal, Associate Professor, Dept. of Electronics & Communications Engineering; Prof. Vaishak N L, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, published Indian Patent on interdisciplinary invention titled – “System For Management Of Ventilators For Covid Patients in Hospital Using Block Chain”, in Intellectual Property India, Office of the Controller General of Patents, Design and Trade Marks, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India (Patent# 202141021200).
The invention relates to the technical field of medical data processing, in particular to a hospital resource consumption management and control system. The system comprising wearable biomedical monitoring unit, a healthcare resource management unit, and a central control unit, used for management of ventilator resources in a hospital, particularly related to a computer-based system for managing ventilators and ICU in a hospital using Blockchain technologies.
